COVID-19 is a disease caused by a new coronavirus that was not previously identified in humans. Coronavirus is a group of viruses found in animals and humans. That virus is what we often call covid-19. Since covid-19 all activity has ceased in order to kill this virus so as not to spread even more to every human being. Then this activity is called the pandemic period. It has been around for more than 2 months since the pandemic period has been tight. Until that time the condition had begun to improve from before, many patients had recovered, and positive numbers in each area also declined. Thus, a new normal system is put in place so that the economy can resume by adhering to the health protocol. But it turns out that new normal is not a good solution, in fact the increase in covid-19 patients continues to grow, and it seems that new normal designed by the government is not going as expected.

New normal is one way for the government to prevent the economy from getting worse. Because, this can endanger the country if the government does not move quickly in handling this economy. Secretary of the PKB DPR RI Fraction, said that his party supports the government's move to move the real sector into the implementation of the new normal. People also really hope that the new normal can help them survive. Many of us meet, the new normal period is more or less able to increase the selling power and purchasing power for all people. Today's economy can actually run according to conditions. For example, during this pandemic condition people started to wear masks, even though they had never used them before. This is an opportunity for the community to sell masks because there is a purchasing power from the community itself. Corona positive cases in Indonesia are still growing. Even based on government data announced Wednesday (06/10/2020), the addition of positive corona cases in Indonesia reached 1,241. Patients infected with corona virus type 2 (SARS-CoV-2) increased by 95 people compared to the latest data on Sunday of 10,985. Today 30/06/2020 new cases in Depok increased by 5 new cases, with 12 patients recovering. From some of the data above shows that, new normal can be a trigger for continued increase in patients.

New normal that was designed and run by the government did not run as expected. Actually, new normal is very effective for recovery, if the government is consistent and the community can also comply with the health protocol. CEPH Griffith University Global Health Security epidemiologist Dicky Budiman said the implementation of the new normal could be effectively implemented if the government also consistently intervened in the pandemic. In this case, the intervention in question is the focus of increasing 3T, namely testing, tracing, treating and isolating massively and aggressively.

Responding to the new normal, all levels of society must understand how the new normal procedures implemented by the government. The government must also be firm if it is new normal.
